Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Skinuity (“the platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Skinuity.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Skinuity. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Skinuity Pro is available as a paid subscription on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate. You will receive advance notice of any price changes.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will investigate.
• Free trials: If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. We never store your full card number or banking details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's services agreement as it applies to end users.

4. Community Guidelines

When posting reviews, forum messages, or any other content on Skinuity, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about products or users
• Spam, advertise, or promote products or services for personal commercial gain
• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other community members
• Share personal information of others without their consent
• Post content that violates any applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent security features or access areas you are not authorised to access

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, without notice and at our sole discretion.

5. Skincare Information Disclaimer

The ingredient analysis, safety ratings, skin-type compatibility information, and conflict warnings on Skinuity are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a dermatologist or qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your skincare routine, particularly if you have a skin condition, allergy, or sensitivity. Skinuity is not responsible for any adverse reactions resulting from the use of products featured on the platform.

6. Affiliate Links

Some “Where to Buy” links on product pages are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Skinuity may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Affiliate links are clearly labeled on the platform. Our editorial content and product ratings are not influenced by affiliate relationships.

7. Intellectual Property

Content you submit to Skinuity (reviews, forum posts, collections) remains yours. By submitting content you grant Skinuity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in promotional materials.

Product information, ingredient data, platform design, software, and all other content not submitted by users are the property of Skinuity or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skinuity and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skinuity and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where Skinuity operates. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform and may cancel your subscription.
