Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (Tinosorb S) is a broad-spectrum organic UV filter approved in the EU, Australia, and many Asian countries but not yet FDA-approved in the US. It absorbs both UVA and UVB radiation and is notably photostable, also acting as a photostabiliser for other UV filters like avobenzone. It is considered safe with low systemic absorption.
