Polyhydroxy Acid (Lactobionic Acid)

Lactobionic acid is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) derived from lactose. Its large molecular structure ensures slow, gentle exfoliation with minimal irritation. It also has strong humectant properties and antioxidant activity, making it suitable for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin. It does not increase photosensitivity.
