Ferulic acid is a plant-based phenolic antioxidant found in the cell walls of cereals, fruits, and vegetables. It is particularly notable for dramatically enhancing the stability and efficacy of vitamins C and E when combined in a formulation. It also has its own UV-protective and anti-inflammatory properties.
